Just how valuable is it to be able to offer an expert opinion?
When a customer walks in to the showroom for information about a stove, it’s what they are striving for. They want to know that they are speaking to the person who will give them the right answers. That the person is invested in them and has the knowledge and experience to point them in the right direction. Let them know what stove is right for them based on their requirements.
The benefit of experience is always a plus point. They’ve been there, bought the t-shirt. Will generally know what they are talking about.

Our National account manager and Northern account manager have experience aplenty having both worked in all aspects of the industry.
Karl Evans – National Account Manager
Karl started from the bottom and worked his way up in the industry. Showroom assistant to showroom manager. Purchasing team leader to Sales manager.
He has also done his fair share of chimney sweeps having qualified through the CSA.
Not forgetting the installations! OFTEC qualified – Installation, commissioning and servicing of solid fuel burning appliances with space heating and hot water heating.
David Francis – Northern Area Account Manager
David has also been in the trade for a long time. Equally having been involved with the trade from a variety of angles.
Installing (HETAS) and sweeping for 13 years, and spent 4 years domestic surveying and in the showroom. His years in the front line of the industry has made him somewhat of an expert in stove and chimney problems.
He has put this knowledge to the test on more than one occasion since joining. As such he has built up a rapport with his accounts very quickly.
