Harrogate could well be regarded as the Capital of the heating industry such has been the shows popularity over the years. For many in the industry its the highlight of their calendar. Every June Hearth and Home comes around signalling the end of one year and the steady climb to the new heating season.

The exhibition has seen a few of the big guns disappear over the last few years and although the numbers in attendance may also have dwindled it is clear the quality of visitor has not. People still descend on the show to find out what is new and what will be out in time for the next rush or “silly season” as its commonly known. Whether for the new regulations, to see what the new stoves will look like, or what new cowls we have, there is always a conversation to have.

Thank you to everyone who came to A2 and made our exhibition as successful as it was. We were very impressed with the number of enquiries we had especially for our new product. Our video was very well received by all and the testimonials we were given were exceptional.

What did we learn?

After showing our direct to twin wall capabilities customers expressed a huge interest in availability. Some even went a stage further by requesting other twin wall types they would be interested in, all noted and something we can work towards.

Our products are loved and we received fantastic testimonials;

“Having been in the fireplace / stove business and been installing fireplaces, fires and stoves for over 35 years I have seen products change and firms come and go. I have tried many other cowls over the years but in my opinion non as robust and well made. I can fix your cowls and forget about them, which is what you want when running a small busy company (no call backs, no re-visits!).”

We also learned that some people were unaware we did a black finish on our cowls. To confirm our stainless steel cowls come in Natural, Terracotta, Sienna, Cotswold Stone and Black.

All in all it was a very eventful show for us and saw the start of some very useful conversations with both existing and potential customers.

Here’s to another eventful year.
